Role summary
This role is for an experienced Staff Nurse to join the Haematology/Oncology teams on Elephant and Lion wards at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We have an exciting opportunity for Experienced Staff Nurses (band 5) to join our teams within Blood Cells and Cancer. BCC is a busy Directorate that provides the most cutting edge and innovative haematology/oncology, bone marrow transplant, immunology, Rheumatology, dermatology and infectious disease treatments?
We care for patients ranging in age from neonates to adolescent. Our patients require a varied input of nursing care from both low to high dependency, and you can gain specialised skills throughout your practice.
We are looking for registered nurses with excellent paediatric clinical skills who are well-motivated, have exceptional communication capabilities, time management skills and a passion to develop their knowledge.
As a Unit we are committed to your professional development and offer educational opportunities which can be individually structured to include study to degree or Masters Level.
