An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Support Services Team at Queen Margaret Hospital. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to provide sewing & linen services across the site, helping to ensure a high-quality service for patients and staff.
The Role
The successful candidate will undertake a range of sewing and linen-related duties, including:
- Alteration and repair of staff uniforms.
- Adjustment and repair of curtains and privacy screens.
- Labelling and alteration of patient clothing.
- Occasional upholstery and soft furnishing repairs.
- Exchange, replenishment and distribution of linen trolleys within wards and departments.
You will be competent in the use of a range of sewing equipment including:
- Flatbed sewing machines(Automatic cut off)
- Blind hemmers
- Overlockers
