Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 4:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Support Services Team at Queen Margaret Hospital. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to provide sewing & linen services across the site, helping to ensure a high-quality service for patients and staff.

The Role

The successful candidate will undertake a range of sewing and linen-related duties, including:

  • Alteration and repair of staff uniforms.
  • Adjustment and repair of curtains and privacy screens.
  • Labelling and alteration of patient clothing.
  • Occasional upholstery and soft furnishing repairs.
  • Exchange, replenishment and distribution of linen trolleys within wards and departments.

You will be competent in the use of a range of sewing equipment including:

  • Flatbed sewing machines(Automatic cut off)
  • Blind hemmers
  • Overlockers
