Role summary
This role involves maintaining and improving the hospital environment by carrying out planned preventative maintenance and fault-finding activities on mechanical systems. The Estates Technician will ensure buildings, services, and facilities are safe and reliable, working as part of a dedicated team. - oExperience of multi skilled trades acquired through training / experience
- oExperienced in the use of IT based control systems
- oEvidence of recent and relevant CPD
- oExperience in writing and compiling reports.
- oKnowledge / awareness of asbestos, water, electrical and mechanical safety
- oHolds a current driving licence
- Specialist knowledge/experience in mechanical systems - ie steam, water, air conditioning, ventilation,
- Knowledge and experience of electrical services
- Knowledge of works within hospital environments
- Knowledge of NHS Technical Guidance

- A Level 3 BTEC, City & Guilds qualification in a Mechanical Engineering trade, or equivalent training and industry experience?
