Role summary
This role is for a caring and adaptable dental nurse to join a community dental team. Responsibilities include assisting dental clinicians during various sessions like routine, general anaesthetic, orthodontics, school screening, and domiciliary care. The successful candidate will receive support through induction and a probationary period, with encouragement for CPD and in-house training. The position requires travel between sites.

- National Certificate of the examination Board for Dental Nursing or Certificate of proficiency recognised by the Association of Dental Hospitals of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or a qualification approved by the secretary of state as being equivalent to one of the above
- Current registration with the General Dental Council is required

- Dental Nurse Sedation Qualification

- It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid driving licence and is either a car owner and able to use the car for work purposes, or has a Trust personal lease vehicle which may be used for the role. However, the Trust would consider making reasonable adjustments to the role, if necessary, to enable a disabled person to undertake the role
- Current registration with the General Dental Council and up to date CPD evidence

Job summary
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and adaptable dental nurse to join our friendly team. Responsibilities will include assisting the dental clinician during routine clinical sessions, general anaesthetic sessions, orthodontics, school screening, dental surveys and domiciliary dental care. Staff are supported and encouraged to participate in clinical audit, CPD and in-house training days.
The successful candidate will follow a set Trust and Departmental Induction plan and will be well supported during a 6 month probationary period.
