Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Engineering team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. The post holder will be responsible for medical device maintenance and repairs at Bronglais Hospital, ensuring equipment is fit for service. Working under the direction of senior team members, you will prioritise and organise daily tasks to support the supply of medical equipment to clinical teams.
Essential criteria
- GCSE Maths, English Language, Science (C grade or above).
- Level 3 Qualification e.g. OND/A Level or equivalent qualification / experience in a relevant area such as clinical Technology or Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Desirable criteria
- Anatomy & physiology training
- Eligibility for membership of AHCS at Practitioner level and/or RCT.
- The ability to display a working knowledge of electronic, electrical / mechanical engineering
- Organisational, interpersonal and operational skills needed for post i.e. management of resources i.e. planning and delivery of service provision.
- Ability to produce written and verbal reports pertinent to the post i.e. technical documentation
- Language Skills
- Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
