Role summary
This is a band 6 to 7 progression role for a Clinical Rotational Pharmacist. The successful candidate will provide expert pharmacy services to inpatient wards, drive innovation, and support Pharmacy Team Leads with reporting, audits, and guideline updates. Essential criteria
- Masters Degree MPharm (or equivalent)
- Competency assessed and examined professional registration with the GPhC
- Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice
- Able to undertake Diploma in Pharmacy Practice and Independent prescribing course
- Good Clinical Knowledge
- Prescription Monitoring
- Computer and IT literate
- Need for confidentiality
- Able to communicate clearly, verbally and electronically
- Able to demonstrate clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Ability to use initiative
- Able to work alone or in a team

We are looking for highly motivated pharmacists to join our award winning, innovative, progressive, patient-centred pharmacy team.
We offer a structured rotational program which includes specialities such as ED, acute medicine, critical care, endocrinology, respiratory, Frailty (new exciting rotation), gastroenterology, vascular surgery, aseptic oncology / haematology and a renowned renal services unit, working with a Consultant Renal Pharmacist.
We will fully fund and support you to undertake relevant post graduate training including the prescribing qualification and leadership training.
