Essential criteria

Desirable criteria
- NVQ Level 3 in Care/Certificate in Community Mental Health Care or agreed equivalent.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to create innovative solutions to help empower service users
- Ability to form positive therapeutic relationships with service users and carers
- Ability to form professional relationships with other professionals including the local MDT
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes
- Experience in working with older adults in the community
- Experience in working with those with mental health difficulties or cognitive deficiencies.
- Experience in delivery psychologically informed interventions
- Training, Qualifications and Registration

Job summary
Join our Maidstone Community Mental Health Team as a Band 3 Support Time Recovery Worker and make a real difference to people's lives.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide person-centred, recovery-focused support to adults experiencing mental health difficulties. You will help service users build independence, develop coping strategies, access community resources and work towards their personal recovery goals. You will also have the opportunity to deliver psychologically informed interventions under the guidance of experienced Psychologists and Occupational Therapists.
