Role summary
This is an exciting and innovative opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Stroke and Neurosciences Therapy Team at Newham University Hospital. - Post graduate formal qualification relevant to clinical speciality
- Extensive post graduate experience on stroke, neurology and respiratory rotations
- Understanding of clinical governance and its implications
- Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of working within the NHS
- Experience supervising and appraising staff and students.
- Experience of audit/research
- Experience of on-call duties
- Good knowledge of current best practice in physiotherapy in neurology
- In depth knowledge of national policies and procedures relevant to client group

The role is offered as a 12-month accelerated training and education opportunity to become a Band 7. With successful completion of the competency framework resulting in a permanent position as a Band 7 PT within the Stroke and Neurosciences Team at Newham Hospital.
As per Annex 21, during the 12 months of training, your starting salary represents 75% of the maximum of Band 7.
