Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Community Support Worker within the Early Intervention for Psychosis Team, supporting individuals aged 14-65 who have experienced a first episode of psychosis or those at risk. You will provide person-centred support, promoting independence, community connection, and wellbeing using a recovery-informed approach. The role involves community working across Worcestershire, requiring travel. You will empower service users to achieve personal goals and foster recovery.
Essential criteria
- Level 3 qualification (e.g., A-level, NVQ3) in Care or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Level 2 qualification (e.g., GCSE, NVQ2) in Care or equivalent qualification or experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post.
- Will be expected to meet the Care Certificate standards within 12 weeks of commencing employment with the Trust.
- I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
- Additional Criteria
- Applicants should be able to work flexibly and with minimal supervision. The ability to cope with changing situations to routine is also important.
- Able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
- I understand that the Trust will not routinely provide sponsorship to work for this role, and employment on a time limited visa doesn't guarantee sponsorship at point of expiry.
- Previous relevant experience working with the client group.
- One to one working.
- Personal care tasks.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Band 3 Support Worker (37.5 hours per week) within the Early Intervention for
Psychosis Team. The service addresses the needs of people aged 14-65 who have
recently experienced a first episode of psychosis or aged 14-35 who may be at
risk of developing psychosis.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide person-centred support to
service users using
a recovery-informed approach. You will work to promote independence, connect
service users with the community, and increase wellbeing. You will play a key role in empowering
individuals to achieve personal goals and foster recovery.
The role is based in Worcester, however,
involves community working and covers the whole of the county. Therefore, you
must be able to meet the travel requirements of the job.
