Role summary
This role is for a Community Mental Health Nurse within a new Intensive Assertive Community Treatment (IACT) Team for Psychosis. Essential criteria
- Current unrestricted registration with NMC
- Substantial experience in a Community Mental health care setting
- Developed specialist knowledge gained within a similar environment over a considerable period of time
- Significant experience of undertaking assessment, formulation, risk assessment and positive risk management

- Must have full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle for business use

The Intensive Assertive Community Treatment Pathway is a new pathway sitting within our existing CMHT's. CWPT have secured funding to provide intensive treatment for people with psychosis who have risks linked to non-engagement. This is following the recommendations from the Enquiry into the Incident in Nottingham in 2023.
The service will be multi-disciplinary, consisting of OT, Nursing, Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Worker, VCSE, dual diagnosis workers, support workers and peer workers. The service works closely with health, social care, statutory and voluntary sector partners.
The focus of the pathway is to provide intensive evidence based interventions to some of the most vulnerable in society. The team will be truly collaborative to work with this challenging but rewarding client group. We are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced individuals who can work confidently on their own as well as being a team player and have knowledge and ideas on how to assertively engage.
