- Assists with supporting children, young people, parents and families to cope with changes in health and well-being.
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal).
- Good interpersonal skills.

- Participation in audit activity.

We are searching for motivated and enthusiastic Registered Children's Nurses who are passionate about delivering safe, high quality care to patients and their families with a progressive and innovative mindset for continuous service improvements.
This role is open to newly qualified nurses, start date is immediate.
Main duties of the job
- We have a unique, caring and inclusive team who are delighted to be responsible for the care of Children and Young People from 5 days to 18 years old, across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
- The ward offers a wide range of experience, caring for children and young people with a range of medical and surgical conditions. The ward consists of 26 beds including a 4 bedded Level 1 HDU and designated teenage beds. There is also an 8 bedded Paediatric Assessment Unit attached.
We promote strong interdepartmental and cross-site working relationships with both Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals
