Main duties of the job
As a Specialist Dietitian, you will work autonomously to:
- Perform therapeutic assessments and deliver tailored treatment programs.
- Manage a diverse caseload with complex physical and psychological conditions.
- Provide expert clinical advice, support, and training for colleagues and junior staff.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based interventions and innovative service improvements.
- Support both inpatient and outpatient clinical caseload
- You will be a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care, and have opportunities to lead within neuro-rehabilitation dietetics as required.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- Degree/Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics and HCPC registration. Evidence of postgraduate training in nutritional support is essential.
- Up-to-date knowledge of treatment for paediatric dietetic conditions
- Car owner/driver and access to car for work is essential
- A broad range of clinical expertise, including managing complex caseloads, problem-solving, and effective multidis
