Role summary
This role involves facilitating the Trust's participation in the CMP (Case Mix Programme) by ICNARC and assisting with all aspects of Theatres, Anaesthetics, Critical Care (TACC) reporting. The post-holder will primarily focus on the collection and validation of patient data within critical care, ensuring high data quality and timeliness. This includes a proactive approach to data analysis to identify and report any shortfalls in key quality indicators to the TACC Services Information Product Specialist Team Leader.
Essential criteria
- GCSE English Language and Maths Grade C or above essential
- NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge and Experience
- Significant experience in an admin and clerical role, with a significant amount of experience in a data quality or equivalent role.
- Collation and evaluation of information, using a clinical information system for both data input and reporting
Desirable criteria
- Experience in a critical care setting
- Basic understanding of some medical terminology
- Skills and Aptitudes
- A solid grasp of using clinical information system
- Ability to input and retrieve data accurately.
- Demonstrates high level of accuracy, attention to detail and an understand of the importance of high quality data
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Abilities to provide high level of customer service and promote a positive image of the Trust Ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines
- Creating and presenting reports
