Role summary
This role involves working independently and as part of a team to deliver a wide range of vaccinations to all age groups in schools, community clinics, and other venues across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough. You will assess and review missed vaccinations and histories, ensuring safe and effective immunisation sessions. The position requires a passion for public health, an interest in learning, and a flexible approach, with travel being an essential component.
Essential criteria
- Registered Healthcare Professional who can administer vaccines under a PGD
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business puposes with a willingness to travel for work
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of SystmOne and other immunisation recording systems
- Evidence of Post-Registration Continuing Professional Development
- Knowledge of the UK vaccination schedule
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Evidence of effective team working

Main duties of the job
Delivering immunisations across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough to children and young people in schools and to all age groups through community clinics, housebound visits and via outreach work.
