Role summary

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced, dynamic, and enthusiastic Staff Nurses to join the General Intensive Care Unit (GICU) at University Hospital Southampton. The GICU is a 30-bedded facility caring for patients with diverse and complex injuries and illnesses, requiring level 2 and level 3 care. The role involves providing high-quality, individualised patient care in a busy, challenging environment, with a commitment to continuous professional development supported by a dedicated education team. Candidates should be flexible, able to work a 7-day rota, and possess excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities
