Role summary

This role is for an enthusiastic and innovative Health Visitor to join the universal Health Visiting service in Wrexham, North Wales. The post holder will manage a caseload within a defined population, focusing on increasing family resilience, improving population health outcomes, and reducing health inequalities while safeguarding children. They will contribute to public health initiatives and deliver the Healthy Child Wales Programme for 0-5 year olds. Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent in Health Visiting with current NMC registration.

Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative Health Visitor to join our universal Health Visiting service in Grove road clinic, Wrexham area North Wales. We are looking for a self-motivated team player who has excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

The post holder will manage a caseload within a defined population, with overarching aims of increasing family resilience, improving population health outcomes and reducing health inequalities whilst safeguarding the wellbeing of children. The post holder will contribute to the public health role in line with government public health initiatives and within the Healthy Child Wales Programme.

Candidates must hold a degree or equivalent in Health Visiting with current NMC registration.

Employment in this post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
