Role summary
This role is for an enthusiastic and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join the Mulberry Ward mental health inpatient team at Farnham Road Hospital. The successful candidate will plan, organise, and deliver therapeutic and recreational activities to promote engagement, confidence, and emotional wellbeing for service users. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the coordinator will help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating ward environment that supports recovery and enhances quality of life for adults with mental health conditions.
Essential criteria
- Demonstrate experience in a patient facing role within a mental health setting or currently studying for a mental health nursing, AHP or psychology degree/qualification.
- Level 3 Qualification in a health related subject or equivalent
- Level 2 Qualification in a health related subject and extensive patient facing experience (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a paid care role
- Demonstrate experience in a patient facing role within a mental health setting or currently studying for a mental health nursing, AHP or psychology degree/qualification.
- Level 3 Qualification in a health related subject or equivalent
- Level 2 Qualification in a health related subject and extensive patient facing experience (or equivalent)

Job summary
