Role summary
This role involves working as a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist within a multi/interdisciplinary team, providing neurorehabilitation to clients with acquired brain injuries. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate rehabilitation goals, and deliver communication therapy programmes. The position requires managing complex dysphagia presentations and providing training to others, working autonomously within your competence.
Essential criteria
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years experience (Band 6) and a minimum of 4 years' experience (Band 7)
- Dyshagia qualification and experience in management of dysphagia
- Registered with the HCPC

Main duties of the job
Recruitment is prioritised at Band 7 level however, applications from suitably qualified and dysphagia-trained Band 6 clinicians will also be considered. The role will be offered at three days per week.
