Role summary
This HR Advisor role provides essential HR advice and support to line managers and employees across multiple GP practices within the Federation, including Doncaster East PCN. The successful candidate will be part of a HR team but situated in Doncaster East GP practices. Responsibilities include managing HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and contributing to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. The role also involves data analysis using HR Information Systems.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day management of the HR function, continuously developing and refining HR administration, systems, and processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Federation HR Advice Service, providing Practice Managers with timely, expert guidance on complex HR queries.
- Take responsibility for visa applications and sponsorships, maintaining rigorous monitoring systems and escalating potential issues immediately.
- Lead the creation, delivery, and analysis of the annual Staff Survey to drive continuous improvement in employee engagement.
- Utilise HR Information Systems (HRX) to analyse key metrics such as turnover rates, absence trends, and time-to-hire providing actionable insights to the Senior Management Team.
- Manage referrals to Occupational Health and lead on the implementation of 'return to work' plans for complex or long-term sickness cases.
Essential criteria
- CIPD Level 5
- 5 years HR experience
