Role summary
This is a Band 6 Specialist Paediatric Radiographer role focusing on Angiography and Interventional Radiology (IR) at Birmingham Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will undertake training in these areas and deliver high-quality, family-centred imaging services. The role involves rotating through Interventional, Cardiac angiography, and General Imaging, ensuring high radiographic standards. It requires participation in on-call/shift provision, including weekends and bank holidays, within a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

- BSc Honours Diagnostic Radiography or DCR(R)
- HCPC Registration
- Evidence of CPD

- Evidence of innovation/change that has had a positive effect on patient care
- Experience of forensic imaging
- Professional/Managerial/Specialist Knowledge
- Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills including numerical interpretation
- PACS, RIS and IT experience with good Microsoft knowledge
- Proven ability to coordinate staff
- Able to manage resources effectively
- Experience of Staff Appraisal process
- Experience of Preceptorship reviews
- Personal Skills/Abilities and Attributes
- Recognise and effectively deal with traumatic and emotional situations.
- Demonstrate alignment with the values and beliefs of the Trust
- Team working
