Role summary
Join an acute inpatient team as a Band 5 Dietitian, providing high-quality dietetic care to patients across various acute inpatient wards. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload, supporting patients referred by inpatient, community, and secondary care professionals. You will work within a supportive and experienced team, benefiting from a structured preceptorship programme and opportunities for professional development. The service includes specialist teams in secondary care, bariatrics, primary care, adult and paediatric diabetes, home enteral feeding, and paediatrics. You will also contribute to student placements, developing leadership and educational skills.
Essential criteria
- BSc(hons) / BSc / Diploma/ Msc Dietetics
- Successful completion of dietetic placement
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in primary and secondary care Post registration experience
- Statutory Registration
- HCPC Registration in Dietetics, Member of British Dietetic Association
- Member of British Dietetic Association
- Special Requirements
- Good time management, ability to work as part of a team, flexible approach to work, able to meet the travel requirements of the post
- Driving posts must have valid Full UK driving licence
- Special Skills & Knowledge
- IT skills
- Experience of using an electronic patient record system
