An exciting opportunity has arisen through our primary care improvement plan for a Primary Care Mental Health Nurse. This post will be based within GP practices throughout Forth Valley. Successful candidates will work directly with GPs, Practice Managers and the wider practice team to provide accessible primary care for people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post holder will be a registered Mental Health Nurse with the drive and enthusiasm to provide holistic mental health assessments and evidence based interventions within a primary care setting. Non-medical prescribing would be advantageous for this role but should not deter candidates with the other requisite skills.
