Role summary

This role provides administrative support to the Screening Division's Training team, which delivers accredited and non-accredited learning and development to Screening staff. The post holder will ensure all administration duties align with awarding body requirements and the Healthcare Support Workers Framework. Key tasks include supporting assessors, quality assurers, and workforce development managers, as well as assisting with learning and development activities and project administration.

Essential criteria

  • Educated up to a level 4 qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and skills or experience.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office applications.

Desirable criteria

  • IT qualification or evidence of current, recent practice.
  • Knowledge of Public Health Wales and it's screening programmes.
  • Knowledge of learning and development administration and associated procedures.
  • Demonstrable experience in an administrative role.
  • Demonstrable experience of communicating with colleagues and the public.
  • Previous experience of processing confidential data and an awareness of the requirements of information governance.
  • Previous experience of managing own workload and prioritising tasks.
  • Previous experience of working within a learning and development setting.
  • Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of numeracy, written and spoken English.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Highly organised with good time management skills.
  • Effective relationship-building abilities with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to adapt skills to changing environment, business needs and workload.
