Role summary
Join the busy Eye Treatment Centre as a Band 3 Ophthalmic Technician, supporting patients through their eye care journey. You will carry out diagnostic tests such as VA, OCT, Visual Fields, Retinal Imaging, and Biometry, and assist clinicians with intravitreal injections after training. The role involves working across Eye Casualty and ophthalmology clinics, providing comfort, support, and information to patients and relatives. You will need to be a great communicator, a team player with a caring approach, and eager to learn specialist clinical skills.
