Role summary
This role is for a registered children's nurse or a student nurse due to qualify in 2026, to join the Children's Services team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job
Children's Inpatient Unit (Ward 30)
Ward 30 is a Children's Inpatient Unit that was purpose built in 2016. The unit includes 35 inpatient beds and a two-bedded stabilisation area. The ward has an adolescent room, school room, play room and we are currently designing a new sensory room.
Children's Urgent Care
The Children's Emergency Department (ED), Children's Clinical Decisions Area (CCDA) and Short Stay became one unit in November 2023. The Urgent Care nursing team work across the 3 areas.
