Role summary
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position for a Band 3 Administrator within the People Services team at Ysbyty Gwynedd. The role provides essential administrative support to both the Recruitment and HR teams, acting as a first point of contact for various stakeholders. It offers valuable exposure to both recruitment and human resources functions in a busy, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team, delivering professional and responsive customer service.
Essential criteria
- NVQ 3 or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- NVQ 2 in administration or Customer Service
- ECDL
- Experience of working in an administrative role
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office Word; Excel
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload and meet deadlines
- Experience of working in a changing, fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills so as to be able to deal with callers over the phone and in person in a professional and courteous manner
- Experience of NHS systems e.g. ESR / Trac / Codi
- Previous experience of working within NHS
- Recruitment experience preferably within a Human Resources of Medical Workforce environment
- Willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Be accurate and with an attention to detail
- Excellent organisation skills
- Able to convey written and verbal messages in a accurate and timely manner
- Ability to work with and develop effective partnerships with all key stakeholders.
- Standard keyboard skills
