Key responsibilities

Essential criteria
- Professional knowledge acquired through diploma or NVQ 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent and clinical placements, supplemented by formal teaching and clinical supervision of practice.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook), normally obtained through practice or practical training
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation demonstrating good attention to detail.
- Experience with adults who have complex trauma and long-standing interpersonal difficulties
- Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills, self-awareness, sensitivity, tact and empathy in all communications
- Reliability, personal organisation and good time management. Ability to manage own workload, plan and prioritise client workload and group sessions, working both independently and within the therapeutic team.
Desirable criteria
- Experience with using Electronic Patient Record Systems, e.g., RiO
- Experience of clinical audit
- Experience/knowledge of the use of psychometric tools to assist in assessment
- Experience of running client groups.

Job summary
The Intensive Psychological Therapies Service is a forward thinking, recovery-focussed, dynamic individual and group treatment service for people with complex trauma and long-standing interpersonal difficulties. Our therapies include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (Ro-DBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Mental Health Support Worker to join our team for up to 37.5 hours per week to support the multi-disciplinary team with a wide variety of tasks. The role may be split into 2 part time positions.
Main duties of the job
The postholder's main responsibility will be for the administration of the Skills webinars including managing the designated email inbox, liaising with service users and staff, setting up and sending the MS Teams links and any associated material, recording attendance on the electronic patient system, processing referrals and providing data relating to the webinars.
Currently the role is based at Branksome Clinic in Poole.
