This role is for a Registered Nursing Associate on Fern Ward, a 16-bed complex care dementia unit at Leigh Moss Hospital. Essential criteria

Job summary

Fern Ward is a 16-bed complex care dementia unit. We have a robust MDT with a range of professionals working together as a team to support our service users.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Fern Ward Team, our inpatient dementia assessment unit at Leigh Moss Hospital, Liverpool.Our ward provides a high standard of assessment and treatment those with Dementia and BPSD (Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia).

You will gain valuable experience and skills across the field of Dementia, incorporating both physical and mental health.

You will be motivated to make a real difference in the lives of people living with dementia, where passion, empathy, strong communication and excellent teamwork are essential qualities for this role.

You will be supported within a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, activity workers and assistant practitioners.

We provide a range of training and educational opportunities, clinical supervision and peer group support.
