Role summary

- ESOL Level 2 or equivalent (if English not first language). Or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study, or employment experience.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or above in Health or Health and Social Care or working towards an award. Or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study, or employment experience.
- Able to demonstrate current knowledge and identify own learning needs
Desirable criteria
- GCSE Standard Pass Grades (GCSE grades 4 and above or A-C only - Department for Education: June 2017)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or above in Health or Health and Social Care or working towards an award
- Previous experience in a Health/Health and Social Care role or equivalent knowledge and skills gained through any combination of alternative study, or employment experience
- Understanding of NHS/Social care systems
- Previous NHS experience
