Role summary

This role is for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Charitable Funds and Treasury Accounting Officer to join the Finance team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, high-quality support to the Treasury Accounting Manager in the administration of Charitable Funds and Voluntary Services. They will also support the raising and management of Trust invoices. The team is award-winning and focuses on improving NHS Finance to support quality patient services.

  • Good numerical and verbal skills
  • Good analytical skills

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of using accounting and spreadsheet packages
  • Good secondary education. ECDL level or working to achieve this
  • NVQ level 3 /AAT Intermediate level
  • Willing to study for a relevant qualification
  • Further Training
  • Willing to undertake training as applicable in respect of IT training needs, statutory regulations and department processes
  • Willing to study for a relevant qualification
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment
  • Previous experience of dealing with internal and external employees/customers of the service
  • Team Working
  • Previous experience difficult customers in a professional and sometimes sensitive manner.
  • Previous finance experience
  • Experience in Credit Control.
