Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker to join the Imaging Team at University Hospitals of North Midlands. The role involves working in a busy imaging department, supporting the Imaging Nursing Team, particularly in Interventional Radiology and the Radiology Day Case Unit. The successful candidate will provide pre and post-procedure care to imaging patients and contribute to the department's high standards of service.
Essential criteria
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills for Maths and English. (ECCTIS is required for overseas qualifications)
- Hold a full Care Certificate or NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care- Ofqual accredited ONLY
- Minimum of 12 months care experience

Job summary
At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
In relation to Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker roles, we are currently able to recruit successfully from the domestic labour market and have a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and appointable candidates. As a result, visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. This position is kept under regular review and may change in the future should labour market conditions or service requirements alter.
Important information for applicants: To ensure clarity of accountability, scope of practice and professional responsibilities, the Trust does not normally appoint individuals holding active NMC or HCPC registration into Band 2 Clinical/AHP Support Worker, Band 3 Senior Clinical/AHP Support Worker or Band 4 AHP Support Worker/Technician roles.
