Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated qualified Health Care Assistant / Nursing Associate to join our team.
You will be joining a well-established successful nursing team of 2 ACPs, 1 trainee ACP, 2 very experienced Practice Nurses, 1 healthcare assistants who work in conjunction with a great wider team of clinicians, a very supportive management team, as well as administrative function.
Main duties of the job
The applicant must be a qualified HCA/ Registered Nurse Associate on the NMC register and must have the Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification.
The ideal candidate would work 25 hours per week ideally Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but there is some flexibility around this.
You will provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursing assistance to the Doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.
The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken by a HCA/Nursing Associate working in General Practice, including health promotion, room checks (infection control duties).
