Role summary
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join the Lower Lea Valley Integrated Community Team in Cheshunt. The role involves providing care to patients in the community, working within a 7-day service from 08:00 to 22:00. The successful candidate will assess, plan, provide, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions. Full training and support are provided, making it suitable for student nurses or those transitioning from acute care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of patient care using an evidence-based framework.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised nursing care for patients in the community.
- Take responsibility for the team and caseload in the absence of the Community Nursing Sister.
- Work as a member of the Integrated Community Nursing Team.
- Demonstrate ability to assess, plan, provide and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions.
Essential criteria
- RGN
- Understanding of current health legislation
- Understanding of HCT organisation
- Responsible for managing a ward or team
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Good record keeper
- Good interpersonal skills
- Clinical audit skills
- Supervisory skills
- IT Skills
- Willingness to uphold the Trust's values
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)

Job summary
A 12 month Fixed Term opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join the friendly Lower Lea Valley Integrated Community Team which provides care to patient in Cheshunt and surrounding areas. The service covers the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 7 days a week.
If you are a student nurse, we would welcome your application, working in an acute Trust is not compulsory before gaining your first position in the community as we provide full training and support.
We also welcome applications from acute nurses who are looking for a community based role.
