Role summary
This role is for a support secretary and booking clerk within the Bone Densitometry Service at Llandudno General Hospital. The post holder will provide comprehensive, high-quality medical secretarial and administrative support to clinical teams, patients, and carers. Key responsibilities include managing referrals, providing confidential administrative services, and coordinating appointments. The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
Essential criteria
- GCSE'S C and above in English and Maths or equivalent experience.
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent experience.
- IT qualification or equivalent level of experience using Microsoft packages
- RSA/OCR Level 2 or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- ECDL
- AMSPAR-City & Guilds Level 3
- Experience of working within the NHS
- Previous Waiting List Management experience
- Skills & Attributes
- Welsh speaking
- Knowledge of a range of administrative and secretarial processes
- Competently communicates professionally and effectively with all levels of staff both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office applications.
- Experienced in planning organising and prioritise own workload.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing service demands.
- Evidence of Continual Personal development.
