Role summary
Join an award-winning Suffolk Adult Eating Disorder Team as a Mental Health Nurse/OT. Having just won the 2024 'Clinical team of the year award' and been finalists at the National GP awards for 'Community Mental Health improvement' the Team are excited to offer you the opportunity to join them.
We are looking for a motivated, empathetic, resilient individual with excellent communication skills who has a passion for working with individuals with eating disorders to join our team covering Suffolk and will be based in Bury St Edmunds. Our applicants will have experience working within eating disorders, and have mental health training.
This opportunity comes at a time of excitement as we are involved in the evolution of a pilot scheme involving the Virtually Intensive Treatment team and Intensive community support.The Post holder will assess, clinically manage, co-ordinate care and treat adults with eating disorders. Working alongside other health care professionals including RMN's, RGN's, GP's, Dieticians and consultant Psychiatrists in order to support services users within their recovery.
