Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Medicines Management Service at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust as a Dispensary Pharmacy Support Worker. Key responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently order & supply stock and named-patient dispensed medicines, including compliance aids and patient information leaflets.
- Follow up outstanding orders for wards, clinics, and service users daily.
- Follow up outstanding items on supplier orders daily and escalate appropriately.
- Be involved in the supply of clozapine to service users, including dispensing, liaising with monitoring services and clinical teams, receiving blood results, issuing medication, and organising prescriptions.
- Participate in the seven-day medicines supply service in line with hours of operation.
- Work in accordance with trust policies, procedures & standard operating procedures.
