Role summary
This role supports the Day Treatment Unit by coordinating chemotherapy drug availability for patients. It involves liaising with pharmacists, clinicians, and drug suppliers, managing databases, and assisting with patient queries and transport. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. This position is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate chemotherapy delivery.
Essential criteria
- Good general level of education (e.g. 5 GCSEs/BTEC grade C or above or equivalent) including Maths & English
Desirable criteria
- EPR/Aria trained
- Special skills/aptitudes
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience of working within the NHS/Public sector

This busy role will require you to be highly organised, have attention to detail and possess the ability to work individually as well as part of a larger team.
