Role summary
This role is for a Midwife to join an integrated team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work across all areas of maternity care, including community, Labour Ward, and Antenatal and Postnatal Wards. - Ability to demonstrate competence in all areas of midwifery practice.
- The ability to assess, develop and implement individual programmes of care.
- Good communication skills both written and oral with legible handwriting
- A good understanding of a midwife's responsibility in regard to safeguarding
- Skilled in perineal suturing
- The ability to be flexible and to be a team worker.
- A willingness to undertake further training and skills development.
