Role summary

This role involves rotating through various clinical areas in primary and secondary care, including medicine, surgery, mental health, and community settings. Key responsibilities

  • Develop prescribing skills and gain core advanced level credentialing with the RPS.
  • Participate in the clinical training and supervision of undergraduate pharmacy students, pharmacy team members, and medical/nursing colleagues.
  • Contribute to the service and be a key member of the clinical pharmacy team.

Essential criteria

  • MPharm degree or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Post Graduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience and/or qualifications
  • Broad post registration experience
  • Good verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work within a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Evidence of implementation of change
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Participate in the provision of general public holiday and weekend pharmacy services as necessary
  • Willingness to participate in "on call" out of hours duty roster as necessary

Job summary
