Role summary

This role is for an experienced Healthcare Assistant at Frimley Park Hospital, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist with patient care and ensure the smooth running of the department. Key responsibilities

  • Undertake agreed clinical activities such as collecting samples, recording fluid intake/output, changing stomas and drainage bags, catheter care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Provide enhanced care observation for patients as required.
  • Support and assist professionals in implementing patient care plans.
  • Assist patients with eating, drinking, and personal hygiene, considering special diets and cultural requirements.
  • Contribute to the safe movement of patients using appropriate equipment.

Essential criteria

  • Evidence of general education, eg GCSE's or equivalent functional skills Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy
  • Previous experience of dealing with the general public

Job summary

We are looking to recruit experienced Health Care Assistants at Frimley NHS Health Foundation Trust (FHFT) who are currently working in the UK in a Healthcare setting. We have a range of Health Care Assistant (HCA) vacancies across our clinical directorates on our Frimley Park Hospital site.

We are looking for compassionate, caring healthcare workers who strive to deliver high quality care to patients.
