Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Rotational Pharmacy Technician to join Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves participating in a structured rotational programme across various pharmacy services, gaining valuable experience and training. You will support the training of pre-registration technicians and pharmacy assistants, and work towards gaining the Accredited Checking Technician qualification and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training. The Trust is committed to innovation and enhancing its pharmacy services.
Essential criteria

- Education / Skills / Experience
- BTEC and NVQ3 in pharmaceutical science or equivalent pharmacy technician course
- Registration with the GPhC (or in the process of registration)
- Good verbal and written communication skills with internal and external colleagues
- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Good team working skills
- Good computing skills
- Good patient counselling skills
- Experience of working in various sections of pharmacy
- Understanding Confidentiality issues
- Understanding of pharmaceutical calculations
