Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Practice Development Nurse to join the dynamic Medical Emergency and Therapies (MET) Divisio n at Ealing Hospital. This role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping and enhancing the Acute Care Group, supporting workforce development, promoting excellence in clinical practice, and driving high-quality patient care across the division.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with practice development nurse within the emergency and acute division department, management and governance teams to support the development of acute medical nursing practice at Ealing Hospital.
You will play a pivotal role in the development of nursing within the teams, embedding our Nursing Strategy for the acute medical service. The successful candidate will support the development of preceptorship, succession planning for staff on their career pathways. Linking with other healthcare professionals throughout the services to ensure we provide excellent high-quality evidence-based care to all patient and families.
You will provide and participate in MDT education and training using a range of techniques and modalities including simulation and skills drills.to meet the learning needs of the team and individual staff.
