Role summary

This is a Band 5 Staff Nurse position on Pevensey Haematology/Oncology Ward. Job summary

A vacancy has arisen for a Band 5 staff nurse on the Pevensey Haematology/Oncology Ward

We are looking for a registered nurse with proven experience to work as part of the haematology/oncology team. You will be joining an established team of nurses in cancer and haematology services and instrumental in the development of this service

Mentorship, Cannulation and phlebotomy skills are essential requirements and training will be given in the administration of chemotherapy.

If you have the required skills and would like to be part of the team then we would like to hear from you. In return we can offer you a supportive environment in a rewarding and stimulating area of specialist nursing. We aim to support you through lifelong learning and personal performance review systems.

You will be a registered nurse with generic pre registration experience in a care environment and have at least one year experience as a qualified nurse. You will have the ability to organise your own and others workload and have excellent communication skills. Venepuncture and cannulation skills are an essential pre-requisite.
