An exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant practitioner to join our Community Rehabilitation Teams in Kirkcaldy.
The Community Rehabilitation Teams provide a service to the adult population within the various localities. This will be delivered to service users within their own home or when deemed essential as an out-patient.
The primary function of this role will be to work with the Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff as part of the Community Rehabilitation Team to deliver therapeutic treatment programmes to service users in their own homes, preventing hospital admission and supporting early discharge from hospital. The post holder will also be expected to hold their own caseload, assess, progress and discharge autonomously within parameters.
You will have an HNC/HND in Health and Social Care or equivalent or SCQF level 8 e.g. Postural Stability Instructor or equivalent. Experience working as a therapy support worker would be essentia
