Role summary
This role is for a qualified Registered Nurse (Adult) to deliver high-quality clinical care within HMP Woodhill, a Category A/B prison. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing primary care services including triaging, emergency treatment, health promotion, and end-of-life care. Job summary
You will be a qualified Registered Nurse (Adult) with a real passion for delivering high quality clinical care. You will be self-motivated, flexible and work well within a team but be able to work autonomously. You do not need to have prison experience as we will provide you with a full induction and training.
Work within the Primary Care Team is varied and includes triaging, emergency care and treatment, health promotion, end of life/palliative care, effective care planning and liaising with the multidisciplinary team. It's this variety that keeps things interesting and stimulating. Every day will bring new challenges and new experiences but you'll have all the support you need to deliver the best care possible from both the healthcare team and the prison team.
HMP Woodhill is a Category A/B prison accommodating approximately 600 adult male prisoners.
