Role summary

This role is for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Cancer team, focusing on Oncology and/or Haematology services. You will deliver clinical pharmacy services to the Cancer Services Directorate, including screening Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies prescriptions and contributing to the TPN ward service. The position also involves providing cover in the licensed aseptic unit for SACT and CIVAS, including supervision and release of prepared medicines.

Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated pharmacist with an interest in Oncology and/or Haematology to join our Pharmacy Cancer team in Swansea Bay University Health Board. Our team comprises of a number of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians with a breadth of knowledge and experience.

Singleton hospital is a Cancer Centre providing services to the population of South West Wales. SWWCC includes a Radiotherapy Department, Oncology and Haematology Chemotherapy day units, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and a dedicated Oncology/Haematology ward.

Main duties of the job

You will work with other cancer services pharmacists to deliver clinical pharmacy services to the Cancer Services Directorate.
