Role summary
This is an opportunity to join a compassionate, supportive, and specialist team at FCAMHS for 12 months. The role involves providing expert assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions for children and young people with complex mental health needs. The postholder will work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting young people, families, and carers, and contributing to risk management, consultation, teaching, audit, and service development.
Key responsibilities
- To provide detailed comprehensive written reports on a multi-disciplinary basis following the assessments.
- To provide specialist nursing input regarding clinical policy, case management and individual care planning to other services.
- To deliver and develop specialised training regarding adolescent forensic mental health to other mental health professionals and other professionals in probation, youth offending teams and social services.
- To provide input regarding service development, and to develop clinical policies, procedures, and set clinical standards.
Essential criteria
- Registered to a Professional Body i.e NMC, Social work Body
- Forensic Mental Health experience
