Job summary
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Practice Support Pharmacist to join our PCN teams, providing expert medicines optimisation, conducting structured medication reviews, supporting safe and evidence-based prescribing, and collaborating with GPs, community pharmacies, and other healthcare teams across Stockport to improve patient outcomes. We support patients and care settings to make best use of medicines, ensuring safe and effective repeat prescribing.
Our service operates between 8am and 6.30pm, with working patterns typically comprising a mix of8am-4pm and 10:30am-6:30pm shifts.
We have the following position available:
1 x 12 month fixed term position.
This is full time (37.5 hours) and is available at (equivalent to) AFC Band 7. Salary is usually at minimum scale but may be higher dependent on primary care experience.
Interviews are planned for week commencing 12th October 2026.
