Role summary
Join the UK's first Peer Supported Open Dialogue Service as an Occupational Therapist or registered nurse. This role combines clinical work with families and networks, facilitation of Open Dialogue training, and supporting its wider implementation across the organisation. Key responsibilities
- Hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle for business purposes.
- Travel between bases in a timely manner across Kent and Medway.
- Deliver person-centred mental health care using the Open Dialogue model with service users and their social networks.
- Contribute to service development, support organisational transformation, and ensure safe, effective, and compliant practice.
- Collaborate in the training and implementation of Open Dialogue across the organisation.
- Work flexibly across different settings in response to service needs and manage competing demands.
Essential criteria
- A degree or equivalent qualification/experience at post registration level
- Further training relevant to role
- Register or equivalent and membership of a professional body.
- KMMH: Peer Supported Open Dialogue -Theory into practice
- Postgraduate foundation level Certificate in Peer-supported Open Dialogue, Systemic Practice and Relationship Skills
- Degree in Peer Supported Open Dialogue
- Experience of working with mental health clients and families in distress and crisis
- Significant experience at Band 5/or equivalent with 2 years post reg experience
- Experience of prioritising casework and allocation/ delegation of tasks to others
- 2Experience of liaising with variety of stake holders both internal and external to organisation
- Experience of liaison with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to the Trust.
- A demonstrable understanding of the Mental Health Act
- Understanding and expertise in the principles of risk assessment and risk management
- Ability to respond efficiently to complex information within tight deadlines and prioritise accordingly.

- Training in Autism
- Experience of leading or contributing to service developments
- Experience of clinical audit and research
- Experience working with Peers
- Experience delivering presentations
- Experience of caseload management
- Community Experience
- Experience in doing Quality improvement projects and Audits
