Role summary
This role is for a highly motivated and organised Full-time Team Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Hillingdon District Nursing Service. The administrator will provide efficient clerical support to a District Nursing Team, working closely with the Team Lead and clinical staff. Key responsibilities include managing referrals, maintaining clinical databases, handling enquiries, and assisting with clerical and managerial duties for the Clinical Team Leader. The post holder will need excellent interpersonal and IT skills, and a flexible approach to meet service needs.
Essential criteria
- GCSE (A* - C) or equivalent in Maths and English
- Experience of working in an administrative capacity
- Understanding of Data Protection / Confidentiality
- Understanding of Equal Opportunities and Diversity

- Experience of working in a customer care setting
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of Patient Appointment/Database Systems i.e. SystmOne
- Demonstrable knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, MS Teams and Excel
- Accurate data entry and typing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work to a high level of accuracy and with attention to detail
- Demonstratable Knowledge of using different systems and databases
- Ability to work unsupervised

We are looking to recruit a Full-time Team Administrator for a 12 month fixed term contract within the Hillingdon District Nursing Service. We are a team of registered nurses, healthcare assistants, community nursing assistants and student nurses who work in partnership with patients, carers, GPs and other social care teams to provide high quality nursing care and advice to adults with an acute or chronic illness who are temporarily or permanently housebound. We operate 365 days a year including an extended hours twilight service.
